Hey there, thanks for stopping by! I am Amy, a Texas native, a mom of two beautiful teenagers, I am married to my best friend and favorite travel partner, an entrepreneur at heart, a digital marketing consultant, and a lover of travel, photography, food and writing.

I had a photography business many years ago and started a food and fitness blog where I shared my favorite recipes, healthy lifestyle tricks and some of my travel adventures. I was unable to keep up with blogging and photography when I opened a restaurant that took over my life for a decade. After I closed my restaurant, I started a marketing consulting business, and my life went from working long hours, sometimes seven days a week to making my own schedule where I have had more time for my family, and the opportunity to travel with my husband as often as we can. It's also enabled me to get back to focusing on the things I love, like writing, cooking, and spending more intentional time with my friends and family.

It's been a busy four years....I got married to one of the greatest men I've ever known, we moved, renovated our house (twice, b/c of a flood), one of our daughters graduated high school and we just sent her off to attend film school in London. We travelled often, and like the rest of the world we were riding the crazy pandemic roller coaster. I don't know about you, but I was happy to get off that ride!
I believe that travel is far more about the things we get to do and see, it's about the people we meet, the cultures we experience and how it shapes the way we see the world and changes who we are and want to be.
