Honey Glazed Salmon

Ingredients:

1/3 cup honey
-
1/4 c. Soy Sauce
-
Juice of one lemon
-
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
-
2 tbsp. olive oil
-
1 tbsp. butter
-
2-4 6 oz salmon filets patted dry
-
salt and pepper
-
minced garlic
Instructions:​

Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes

Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and add 1 tbsp. olive oil and one tbsp. butter. When the butter is melted add the salmon skin side up and cook about 6 minutes, then flip the salmon and add the remaining tbsp. of oil.

Add garlic to the skillet and cook for about one minute then add the honey mixture and cook until reduced (3-5 min). while cooking spoon the sauce over the salmon.

**I like the flavor this sauce adds so sometimes I make extra, heat in separately in a pan and serve it alongside the salmon.
