Pura Vida View
Punta Mita

My family has been travelling to Punta Mita since 2005. It is one of my favorite places to visit in Mexico. When we first arrive I immediately feel a sense of peace and tranquility. Situated within a private peninsula in the Riviera Nayarit, just 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita is pure paradise. The gated luxurious upscale community is home to multimillion-dollar villas, two Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses, a tennis center and luxury resorts such as, The Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, where we always stay, and the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort

Punta Mita
At a Glance
Situated on a peninsula, Punta Mita is surrounded on three sides by breathtaking views of the Pacific coast with white sand beaches and the Litibu and Banderas bays to the north and east. The weather is warm year round and even during the "rainy" season (June-Sept) the rain rarely lasts long and is usually in the evening. With 345 days of sunshine it is always a beautiful time to be in paradise.
Once a small fishing village it is now well developed and known for its upscale luxurious villas, private beach clubs, resorts and golf courses. It is also known for it's beautiful native art and rich history.
It's intimate tranquil setting with stunning views and luxurious private villas has attracted celebrities and high profile executives. Bill Gates invested in 48 acres of beachfront property along with the Four Season Resort in 2014.
With guard gated entrances throughout, you always feel very safe.

This is a beautiful resort and the only place I've ever stayed in Punta Mita. The hospitality is unrivaled and the views are breathtaking. If you are looking for pure luxury in paradise, this is the perfect place, you'll never want to leave.
The accommodations range from beautiful casitas, plunge pool suites, ocean front villas to ocean residences and beach homes. We've loved every place we have stayed. I love the views from the oceanfront casitas with plunge pools. Our family favorite is the Sole Ocean Villa

Two private Jack Nicklaus designed courses are located within the gates of Punta Mita. The Bahia golf course is a challenging course with amazing views of Bahia de Banderas and the Pacifico golf course offers spectacular views of the Pacific, Bahia De Banderas and the Sierra Mountains. You will want to make time for the 19th hold, the famed "Tail of the Whale," is a 194 yard par three hole and is the only natural island green in the world.
