I have been told my guacamole recipe is the best : )
Maybe they are just being nice or maybe it is just that good, haha. Regardless, it is usually a big hit and I am often asked to make it. I make mine a bit spicier than some might like and I use a few different ingredients than other recipes you might find. For instance, I use a lemon instead of a lime, I add a can of diced green chilies and I use green onion instead of white or red onion. Hope you enjoy the recipe, be careful, everyone will ask you to make this again and again!

Ingredients:
3-4 Large Haas Avocados (give them a gentle squeeze and if they are slightly soft, they are ripe, if they are too hard to squeeze they are not ready and if they are super soft, they are past their prime)
2-3 Green Onions finely diced
1 Roma Tomato diced
1 can diced green chilies
1 diced jalapeno
1- 1 1/2 tsp garlic salt (or to your taste)
1 lemon juiced
1/2 tsp of scorpion or ghost pepper salt (optional)
Directions:
Slice the avocados vertically and scoop out the flesh add it a medium size mixing bowl. Dice the tomato, onion and jalapeno and add to the bowl. Add the drained can of green chilies and the garlic salt and mix it all well. Use a potato masher or metal whisk (my favorite tool for mashing this) to mash and combine all of the ingredients. Use a hand juicer and add the lemon then mix well.
TIP: If you want to preserve this longer put some of the avocado pits in with the guacamole.
